Wahoo

Harry Bolick’s Vintage Mississippi Fiddle Tunes Workshop

Jalopy, Sunday, June 28th at 2:30 - 4:30pm

Harry will be teaching and discussing fiddle tunes from the sweltering foothills of Carroll County, Mississippi which is located just above the Mississippi delta.

A touch of blues, a hint of ragtime and an opinionated touch of melody from the legacy of the great fiddlers of the 1920’s and ‘30’s.

Wahoo

From the full tilt roar of a square dance to high lonesome sound in songs of love and murder. Wahoo primarily plays songs and instrumentals from the American South. On occasion they range a bit farther afield with tunes from Scandinavia, Portugal, Mexico and French Canada.
